General Terms and Conditions

1. Booking

As soon as the applicant signs and returns the course contract to the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden, the booking of the course is binding.

2. Registration fee

The course registration is free of charge.

3. Course fee

The course fee stated in the price list of the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden at the time of application is valid.

4. Entry to Germany

Participants who need a visa for entry into the Federal Republic of Germany take responsibility for observing the applicable entry regulations.

5. Letter of Confirmation

The course registration at the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden does not replace a Letter Of Confirmation needed to apply for or extend a visa. This confirmation is not issued by the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden.

6. Payment terms

The payment terms stated in the course contract are valid.

7. Refunds

If the participant does not start the booked course, breaks off a running course, or misses booked lessons, the participant has no claim to a refund of payments made or to making up the missed lessons at a later date.

If lessons cannot be held within the term of the course for reasons for which the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden is responsible, the fees for the lessons not delivered will be refunded proportionately.

8. Liability

The Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden undertakes to provide the booked services in full and in the described quality.

In the event of non-performance of the contractual services for reasons for which the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden is not responsible, the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden assumes no liability.

The contractual partner is liable for all damage that he or the course participant causes to the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden in the course of his German course.

9. Legal domicile

The legal domicile of the Deutsche Sprachschule Dresden is Dresden.
